 A high percentage of your Department’s responses are to utility related emergencies.
You also respond to calls not directly related to utilities that may also present utility hazards. Not being aware of the hazards and the potential risks present at electrical or natural gas emergencies will pose serious threats to first responders. |

 This training course, presented by a team of seasoned veterans from the FDNY and Con-Edison of New York, addresses the immediate need for hazard awareness and tactics when responding to utility emergencies.
The curriculum includes overhead and underground electrical, natural gas, utility substation and “in the structure” hazard awareness and tactics. |
